The SFHS Lacrosse Program offers lacrosse to boys 9th—12th grade on a Varsity and Junior Varsity level and seeks the holistic development of all lacrosse student-athlete’s. This is in line with the values of SFHS, which are manifested by providing a valuable Christ-centered educational experience to participants through positive affirmation, unexpected disclosure (coming alongside students), and informed coaching. We do this in a highly competitive and fun environment. The program recognizes the unique spiritual, intellectual, and physical capabilities of each St. Francis lacrosse player and seeks to be a driving force enabling future success by preparing each of them for top-tier college acceptance.

HEAD COACH: Jared Little, University of Virginia ‘06

Coach Little played lacrosse for the University of Virginia where he was a part of two National Championships (’03, ’06). A California native, he predominantly grew up in “upstate” New York . While in high school he became one of the top 5 goal scorers in New York history, credit much due to his energetic Hall of Fame coach Kirk Ventiquattro. His childhood teammates were legacy players the likes of Mike Powell of the famous Powell Brothers (Syracuse), Josh Coffman (Syracuse), and Ian Dingman (Navy). Added up that’s six National Championship rings for his childhood crew. Collegiate teammates include John Christmas, Joe Yevoli, Brett Hughes, Connor Gill, and Tewaaraton Award winners Matt Ward and Chris Rotelli. He’s seen and played with the best of the best.

As the Program Head Jared is responsible for motivating staff and student-athletes to achieve personal and team goals. He is responsible for articulating Program directives and goals to the SFHS lacrosse community, coaching staff, student-athletes, and parents. He is student-athlete focused utilizing energy and intellect to motivate SFHS Lacrosse players to achieve personal, academic, and team goals. He believes that crucial to the advancement of St. Francis Lacrosse is that the he interacts with the greatest degree of professionalism and personal integrity when strategically leading his players to victory.

HISTORY: SFHS Lacrosse

The SFHS Lacrosse program is headed in its 7th season as a CIF program and participant in the Mission League. Within this short time the program has made appearances in the CIF Southern Section playoffs and netted multiple Mission League wins against Crespi, Chaminade, and Notre Dame.

There is much anticipation for the 2019 lacrosse season. The program returns [at the Varsity Level] 9 of 10 starters, 4 captains, an All-League goalie, and nearly 90+ % of the previous years roster. This 2019 roster is further strengthened by select rising 10th/11th grade players from 2018 (JV) as well as a highly touted freshman class that has experience at the local elite and super-elite National Level.

Good things to come for the St. Francis Lacrosse program. Join the movement!
