2019 Baseball Season Preview:

The 2018-2019 St. Francis baseball team returns 10 players, including five starting position players and six pitchers. The team will be led offensively by 2018 all-Mission League Team selection senior Doyle Kane. Other returning players, and a young and talented crop of underclassmen will look to help the team build on last year’s season.

The baseball team competes in the Mission League that consistently has teams competing for a CIF-SS title and ranked nationally and among the top 20 in the state of California. St. Francis also competes in the Easton Tournament to start the spring season and will follow that up with the Quartz Hill Tournament prior to Mission-League play.

The St. Francis baseball program is fortunate to call the new Glendale Sports Complex turf baseball field home. The new state-of-the-art field includes an all turf surface, sunken dugouts, new scoreboard, batting cages and bullpens. The varsity and junior varsity play their home games at the Complex. The freshmen play their home games at Scholl Canyon.
