St. Francis High School

Events

POSH/MiniPOSH

Every year, St. Francis High School holds a fundraising event.  Both events bring current parents, parents of graduates, alumni and friends of SFHS together to raise money for the school.  In the odd years, POSH is held, and in the even years, MiniPOSH.

POSH is held off campus to accommodate the more elaborate scope of the event.  This is a formal affair with a silent auction and a sit-down dinner, followed by a live auction and Grand Raffle.  Sponsorship opportunities are available to assist with underwriting the general expenses of the event.

MiniPOSH is typically held on campus and is a more informal affair.  The event includes a silent auction, a SFHS Marketplace, entertainment, cocktails and dinner.  As with POSH, a Grand Raffle is also held.  Sponsorship opportunities are available to assist with underwriting the general expenses of the event.

Proceeds from the POSH/MiniPOSH events have generally gone to support scholarship, as well as project-based needs.

Golf Tournament

Since 1988, the St. Francis Alumni Association has hosted the St. Francis Golf Classic as an opportunity for the entire St. Francis community to raise funds for current students. Held at Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena, it is a great day of golf and camaraderie for alumni, parents, alumni parents and friends to reconnect in support of St. Francis High School.

Friars Circle Reception

The Friars Circle Reception is held each fall, and recognizes donors whose cash gifts to non-event based fundraising appeals from the prior fiscal year (July 1 – June 30) total $1,000 or more. Cash donations to event-based fundraisers (POSH, Golf Tournament) are recognized and celebrated throughout the corresponding event. We were delighted to have these dear friends of St. Francis High School join us for this special celebration of generosity each year.
